Iyengar Yoga is a method of yoga developed by B.K.S. Iyengar and focuses on the development of flexibility, strength and alignment of the body.

The use of props such as blocks, bricks, blankets, belts and chairs help support the student and help achieve the correct alignment of a pose.


B.K.S. Iyengar wrote many books on the subject of yoga, “Light on Yoga” is considered to be the definitive guide to yoga and is studied by yoga students throughout the world.
Regular practice of yoga brings:
